And we're off!!! Our beginner class on Tuesday learned the basics of grooming, the tools needed for grooming, how to saddle and bridled the horse, and how to check & clean the hooves before riding. Wednesday's intermediate class refreshed on how to saddle and then went out to the arena to walk the barrel and pole patterns. Thursday's advanced students also spent time in the arena going through the barrel and pole patterns along with a quick flag game. Jerett and I are happy to have these sweet, small classes to start the program, as it will give the students more time to learn and develop their skills, and give us more time to get to know each of them! Our Bible study this first week involved some of the names of Jesus, and how knowing the meanings of those different names gives us additional insight into who he is. The memory verse for the week is John 10:10, "The thief comes only to steal and killand destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
