Our first week's bible lesson will center around all the names of Christ and what they mean. SO, we want you to come to class knowing what your name means and why your parents chose your name. Was there a story behind choosing your name? Ask them and share with us!
For example: My name is Averi. My parents chose Averi because it was my dad's favorite uncle's name. His was spelled Avery, but they made mine to end with an "i" since I was a girl. My name actually means "king of the elves, or elfen ruler." Kinda funny!!!
To be prepared for our first class, you will want to wear jeans and boots or tennis shoes. Also, if it's cold, you'll definitely want to have a good coat!
So here's the list of things to bring:
1. 1/2 inch binder for your class papers
2. Jeans and boots, or tennis shoes
3. The meaning of your name and why your parents chose it
